Debian Contributors Bof

I have a dream, and I have a plan.At the beginning of Debconf, the dream is told, the plan is exposed.During Debconf, the plan gets real.At the end of Debconf, something new is released into the wild.Everyone who contributes to Debian, and every contribution, should be officially recognised and credited.There is going to be a new title, a new hat, called "Debian Contributor".It's going to be a hat without bureaucracy, a hat without a process.It's going to be the hat of a do-ocrat.Debconf is where we make it happen, and it begins with this BOF. I'd like this to be scheduled early, to kickstart work during the conf.I'd also like to talk about the plan more publicly before the conf, but unless something changes, I won't have the resources to sustain a public online discussion about it anytime soon.The best compromise I can think of is to blog or announce the proposal a few days before the start of Debconf, clearly mentioning that I'd like to discuss it in the BOF.
